Class 95

I've just thought of a new slogan for Class 95 - No Rap Crap, Just Good Music. Catchy, eh?

Rockson again. Short for Rock Hudson? Wait a tick, wasn't he...

Headlights And Gays

Different type of headlights for today. This Japanese girl, Saaya Irie, is supposed to be 11-years-old! Something's not right here.

On the topic of gays, I just read about the Gay Pride Month being organized by Fridae. I'm not one to advocate the eradication of gays but I feel that they should stay in the closet. I can't wait to see what pithy comments Rockson would have regarding their militancy.

Cool Car

I think it would be cool to own this car. I think I will post one picture every day until I run out of pics.

CASE Gets Hairy

Can you believe this is a Toyota?

CASE has just highlighted the problem of hair-treatment unsupported by medical evidence. Many men are driven to desperate measures by hair loss, and there's no shortage of people who are willing to take these poor sods for a ride. Come on, it's like slimming ads, only the gullible fall for it. Not much the 'gahmen' can do about it, though. A fool and his money are soon parted.

As for myself, I've been taking Propecia for at least 10 years. I actually have more hair now than 10 years ago. LOL.

Rockson Strikes Again

Another quotable quote from Rockson, regarding the 'so-called' renaming of Marina Bay. Gosh, $400,000 for status quo?! To quote Rockson - 'Marina Chow Chee Bay lah!'. LOL!

Been playing Forza on X-Box Live for a few days now. Generally ranked between 1000 to 2000 for most tracks. Sigh. Guess I'm not cut out to be a race car driver. On the bright side, there are usually 20,000 people ranked below me. :)

Spent some time doing up the Honda Accord Coupe EX. Black mother-of-pearl with purple highlights. Red flames on sides and top. Big GT wing. Nice. BTW, I drive that IRL. :)

Salary of Ren Ci's CEO

Finally, the truth is out. I read this in Weekend Today. He earns $15,000 a month. No mention about annual bonus. Putting aside the fact that he's a monk (don't they have a vow of poverty and chastity?), I feel that his salary should not exceed $10,000 a month.

Pack Of Dogs

I spent most of yesterday morning trawling blogs talking about NKF. A recurring theme is to redirect donations from NKF to other charities, like Ren Ci. HELLO! PEOPLE! THINK! If you're unhappy with NKF because of it's CEO's salary, shouldn't you find out the salary of Ren Ci's CEO before redirecting your donations?

Singaporeans are like a pack of dogs chasing an injured fox and totally ignoring a chicken they run past.

Rockson Potty-Mouth

I was very intrigued when I saw 'cheebye' in Digital Life. Checked out Rockson's post and, 'Potty-Mouth' is an understatement. I have to agree that 'yao jiu jiu ling your chao chee bye lah' is a strong contender for quote of the year. LOL. BTW, here's the link - http://rockson.blogspot.com/2005/07/nkf-boss-got-cheebye-12-months-bonus.html. Enjoy!

Barriers On Bridges

I feel sorry for the poor chap who got paralyzed cycling into a barrier on an overhead bridge. It's too high a price to pay. However, that should not distract us from the main issue here. Cyclists should get off and push their bicycles when using pedestrian crossings. I really hate it when I have to stop at a zebra-crossing because some idiot is cycling across. I think it would be great if some fool, speeding in a goods-vehicle, were to run down an idiot, cycling across a pedestrian crossing (wearing black, in the dark).

And on the topic of speeding goods-vehicles, the situation seems to be getting worse. I saw several of them going at 90-100km/h over the past few days. What the hell am I paying taxes for?! Bastards.

The Witch-Hunt Continues

Alas, Durai went down without much of a fight. Our blood-lust has not been satisfied. Now to find out the salary of the CEO of another charitable organization. I suggest Ren Ci. I've always thought that the title CEO was, and is, inappropriate for a monk. The question is, does he get a CEO's salary? How much should a monk earn? I'm thinking it should be less than 100K a year.

X-Box Live

Got my wireless broadband installed yesterday. Managed to hook up my X-Box directly to the router. Managed to connect to X-Box Live. Unfortunately, the 2-month free trial that came with Halo 2 expired in March. Rats! I'm going down to Sim Lim Square later to buy the starter kit. Then it's time to rock-n-roll!

Suicide Bombings in Iraq

Durai has resigned. Hurrah for people power. Let's see if the new CEO's salary is made public.

The Al Qaeda claim to be trying to drive the Americans out of Iraq using suicide bombers. However, the Americans will not be able to pull out until the insurgency is suppressed. If the bombings stop, the Americans will have no reason to stay (I'm sure they're dying to leave, no pun intended). Which begs the question, what is the real reason for the bombings? I suspect it is just an excuse to kill Americans.

We can only pray that the Americans will find justice and kick some serious butt.

Peanuts?

The storm gathers strength. Boy, Singaporeans are really pissed. It's a witch-hunt! Call for Pursuivant Witch-Smeller! First the salary bombshell. Then the 'peanuts' comment. Now the people are baying for blood, NKF Board blood. Now at least we all have something interesting to bitch about. :)

By the way, join in the bash at www.petitiononline.com/nkfs. And the latest slogan on the street? "Durai Must Die". LOL.

NKF - I was right all along

I never thought we'd find out, but he was hoist by his own petard. I'm talking about T T Durai, CEO of NKF. In trying to clobber The Straits Times, he was ambushed by the wily defence lawyer. Talk about ownself-sabo-ownself. LOL.

I have never donated to NKF simply because of their refusal to reveal Durai's salary. Must be hiding something, right? I imagined that he must have been pulling down about 200-300K a year. It really blew my mind when I found out that it was more like 550-600K!

I officially offer myself for the post of CEO NKF, and as my first act in improving the foundation, reduce my salary to 'only' 200K a year. How can you say no to that?
