I sometimes watch bits of Portrait Of Home. Most people who watch it complain about having to wait so long before the bad people get their comeuppance. Yeah, I think it sucks. So many threads were left hanging after season one that it left you feeling empty. I think that kind of script writing is just sloppy and unprofessional. In most American Soaps, there's just one cliffhanger, not ten. And the script is just so draggy, they're just dumping in irrelevant scenes to stretch things out. Quite a waste of time, really.
Everitt Road was the topic on Class 95 Morning Express. More specifically, the guy who gives Chans a bad name. The question was 'What would you do if you lived next to him?' And you can't move out. Quite frankly, live in misery or hire a hitman. The law seems powerless in this case. If a man (and his family) can quarrel with 5 or 6 neighbours, it suggests a psychiatric root. And there's no cure for that, horse to the trough and all that. Most people just say 'Thank God for MY neighbours'. :)
